The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nevada

Project Information

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is a mixed-use development located adjacent to the Bellagio hotel and City Center, right on the world famous Las Vegas Strip. Its 3,000 spacious rooms & suites provide the comforts and feel of condominiums to guests, while its casino, retail and amenities cater to the whims of millions of tourists who visit the Strip annually.

This luxury hotel casino is the first in Las Vegas to take an urban point of view. In a city known for its large setbacks, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas occupies the entire site and engages the sidewalk with storefronts that beckon to tourists with transparency. The glass podium engages the street while its panels fold theatrically in dramatic angles. Three levels of shops and restaurants within the podium become part of the Boulevard experience.

Situated at the epicenter of the development, the casino is accessible by a glass-enclosed monumental galleria which cuts diagonally through the site and rises through several levels of activity to the rooftop “beach front”. The casino serves as the entrance and grand foyer to the hotel lobbies, restaurants, entertainment and retail above.
