Project Information

Arquitectonica’s design for this new town in the Dominican Republic includes residential districts, an airport, marinas, casinos, golf courses, and an entertainment district. The 9,000 acre (3,642 hectare) town project is designed to become the largest leisure and resort city in the Caribbean.

The property is situated along 6.2 miles (10 km) of lush tropical coastline, surrounded by mangrove parks, coral reefs and nature reserves. The Columbus Bay masterplan includes over 25,000 residential units, many state-of-the-art marinas, boutique hotels with casinos containing approximately 9,500 rooms in total, three 18-hole signature golf courses with other sports facilities, retail and commercial space, parks and recreational areas, a family entertainment district, and a private medical center.
