The first phase of the 27,000m2 project involved the design of a 15,000m2 corporate headquarters for a bank in downtown Luxembourg, at the focal point of the financial district with 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th century buildings. The building is developed within a tight envelope defined by zoning regulations. The building has eight levels below ground and six levels above ground and contains an auditorium, trading rooms, a vault, a computer center, meeting rooms/classrooms and dining areas.
The recently completed Phase 2 expansion is a 12,000m2 extension of the original 15,000m2 Banque de Luxembourg Headquarters building. The expansion has seven floors above grade and four below grade. It was built to accommodate the bank’s growing sales team.
