Diversity in this enormous space was introduced at the level of the individual entrances from the parking lots, the food courts, the retail avenues and their connecting courts. The interior organization revolves around a series of courts, basically enclosed plazas. Inside the mall there is a series of “”streets”” lined with a variety of retailers. These streets are linked by dramatic courts at each juncture. Each shopping street has its own theme based on an architectural style. Whimsical, three-dimensional objects relevant to each concourse’s theme are suspended from trusses to give the mall an even more celebratory, parade-like feel.

The regional outlet mall including nine anchor-stores, two food courts, an entertainment complex, restaurants, shops, kiosks and pushcarts. This is a one-story mall with surface parking for 11,000 cars.

The building won the AIA Award for Excellence in Architecture.
