Arquitectonica continues to stay active on Florida’s west coast

The Residences at 400 Central is the next big development to officially break ground in St. Petersburg, Florida. In celebration of the event, Arquitectonica’s Principal Bernardo Fort-Brescia was joined by John Catsimatidis Sr., owner of Red Apple Group and St. Petersburg’s Mayor, Rick Kriseman to formally kick-off construction.

When completed, 400 Central will become the tallest building in St. Petersburg. The 1,280,000 SF mixed-use building sits on a 2.3-acre site and takes up a full city block. Strategically located between the tourist-oriented waterfront district and the St. Petersburg Arts District the development has the opportunity to serve as a unique connection between both vibrant communities.

The mixed-use project contains a 45-story, 720,380 SF, 322-unit residential tower angled on the site in order to take advantage of views of both Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. A series of penthouses are situated on the upper levels. A 14,000 SF first-class amenity package includes an expansive landscaped sundeck with a pool, outdoor kitchen, dining space, bocce court, putting green, a fitness center a spa and a lounge.

The tower sit on top of a five-level, 318,500 SF parking podium containing 842 parking spaces. There is 58,000 SF of retail and restaurants line the ground floor. There is an observation deck on the 46th floor with views from Tampa Bay to the Gulf of Mexico.
