Arquitectonica receives Buildings of Excellence Awards

Presented by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), Arquitectonica is a recipient of a Buildings of Excellence Award in the Under Construction category for its project at 511 East 86th St., New York, NY. Arquitectonica’s Christopher Short (forth from left), was on hand to receive the award for the project, which is being developed by Carrera RS, LLC. The Buildings of Excellence competition is a $40 million competition with monetary awards being given out in each of three rounds. The Competition recognizes and rewards the design, construction, and operation of very low or zero carbon emitting multifamily buildings.
