Monaco Yacht Club and Residences Breaks Ground

The recent resurgence of the North Beach neighborhood is highlighted by the groundbreaking of the Monaco Yacht Club and Residences. Facing Biscayne Bay, the 12-story, 39 unit sits on a 1.1-acre site at 6800 Indian Creek Drive, Miami Beach, Fla.

Scheduled for completion in 2021, the luxury residences designed by Arquitectonica is being developed by Optimum Development USA. The boutique condominium features large wraparound terraces offering an outdoor living environment with panoramic views of the intracoastal waterway, Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline.

Amenities include an activated 5,900 SF rooftop terrace with a pool and Jacuzzi, fitness center and a private 12-slip marina. “Given its location a connection to nature was important when designing the project and because of Florida’s weather, waterfront and outdoor living identify with Miami’s brand and lifestyle,” said Bernardo Fort-Brescia, co-founder of Arquitectonica. “The marina is integral to the design idea of the project and is part of the overall composition. The nautical design of the building continues into the actual naval architecture of the moored yachts in the marina along the waterfront of the site allowing the building and the yachts to coexist harmoniously,” Bernardo added.

The scale of the building lends itself to a more exclusive and private living experience by offering discreet arrival to the individual units and only three residents per floor. The penthouses include private terraces with outdoor kitchens.
