In her latest essay, Margarita Blanco, PhD, Global Director, introduces Design as a Social Process (DASP), a new way of understanding how landscapes are conceived, shaped, and experienced. Rather than viewing design as a series of spatial decisions or aesthetic choices, DASP presents it as a living exchange between people, place, and history. Blanco’s research shows how design grows out of collaboration and cultural context, where memory, identity, and social conditions influence every creative act.

Arquitectonica is designing The HueHub, a mixed-use community planned for Miami’s West Little River. The project will bring 4,000 apartments, including 3,000 reserved at below-market rents for teachers, first responders and other essential workers.
The HueHub is also planned as a place for learning, wellness, arts and green space, with features like a library, show kitchen, art gallery and a central park designed to connect residents.
