The JW Marriott Hotel and Office Tower are on a site adjacent to the city’s convention center. With its grand scale the 35-story hotel appropriately responds to the massive Music City Center located across the street. A similar approach is accomplished on where the facades of the podium and towers curve back from the Demonbreun Street to open up to a pedestrian and automobile drop-off for the office tower.

The elliptical form draws inspiration from the nearby Cumberland River and its symbolic place in history, a circuitous watercourse, following the natural geography as it flows through the city. With a curving facade, the standout design elements include an undulating glass frontage and podium that incorporates sculpture, fountains and art. The podium facades swirl into and around the base of both towers, providing overhangs for the entrances and unify the entire development both vertically and horizontally.

The 4-star hotel includes 533 guest rooms including 37 luxury suites, convention facilities, ballrooms, spa and fitness center as well as 50,000 SF of space for events and meetings. The 33rd floor features a fine dining restaurant and a covered outdoor terrace with ample space against the city backdrop.
