Following the record-breaking success of unit sales at the Infinity Luxury Condominiums, Arquitectonica was approached to design the Infinity’s sister project, Lumina at 201 Folsom Street in San Francisco. The 655-unit development features two high-rise towers and two mid-rise buildings in the heart of San Francisco’s Rincon Hill District. The Client asked that we provide another sleek and curvy signature building, similar in vocabulary but not a copy of the Infinity towers. Arquitectonica responded with a pair of elliptical tower geometries, rising above the folding facades of the lower mid-rise structures.

Amenities include a double-height club room, a game room, a screening room, a private dining room with demonstration kitchen, a doggie daycare facility, a full service spa and a health/fitness club with Olympic-sized swimming pool. Residents will also enjoy relaxing on the rooftop gardens, equipped with outdoor BBQ stations, fire pits and screening projection walls. The design includes a public mid-block passage with landscape features plus a ground level restaurant at the podium base and a coffee shop in one of the towers.
