Shatin Communications and Technology Center
The 523,000 SF Shatin Communications and Technology Centre (SCTC) at Shatin Racecourse brings together a series of the Club’s staff and core operations, currently housed in various locations across Hong Kong, into a single, integrated building, including facilities such as Main Telebet Centre, Integrated Call Centre (ICC), IT Department Offices, Broadcasting Services Department & Post Production Centre, and Hong Kong Jockey Club College.
The SCTC will consolidate the above activities within an improved environment catering to the long-term operational requirements of the Club in a more sustainable manner whilst symbolizing the Club’s pursuit of excellence. First-class staff amenities, such as canteen, gym, in-house training, will be provided along with improved transportation connections for staff to the MTR, bus, coach, car, taxi and bicycle access.
The site provides spectacular views to the East across the green expanse of the Racecourse, the Shing Mun River and out over the Shing Mun Valley to the beautiful backdrop of the Ma On Shan mountain range in the distance. The racecourse sits immediately in front of the site to the East and South-east, literally within a stone’s throw, and will provide employees with an inspirational view during any time of day or night.
