University of Miami School of Architecture Thomas P. Murphy Design Studio wins Building of the Year

The University of Miami of Architecture’s Thomas P. Murphy Design Studio Building wins the American-Architects 2018 Building of the Year Award. Designed by Arquitectonica, ArquitectonicaInteriors and ArquitectonicaGEO, the building won with 38% of the votes featuring 43 Building of the Week reviews from 2018 and received votes from more than 4,000 people. The 20,000 SF studio building in Coral Gables, Fla. provides a space conducive to learning and studying, but also serves as a teaching tool by illustrating some of the basic tenets of modern architecture.
